En passant par le col de Casies, vous franchirez la fronti\u00e8re et entrerez en Italie. Au milieu de p\u00e2turages luxuriants et d\u2018alpages, vous descendrez dans la vall\u00e9e de Casies, caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par de petits village aux balcons fleuris baign\u00e9s de soleil, et bord\u00e9e de prairies fleuries et parfum\u00e9es. Il s\u2018agissait en effet d\u2018une route de contrebande entre l\u2018Italie et l\u2018Autriche, notamment dans les ann\u00e9es 1920 et 1930. La vue s\u2018\u00e9tend ici sur la vall\u00e9e jusqu\u2018aux Dolomites de Braies. En parcourant la vall\u00e9e, vous d\u00e9couvrirez plusieurs alpages et hameaux: Oberberg, Kradorferalm et Messnerhu\u0308tte ne sont que quelques-uns d\u2018entre eux.
